This project is a speculative design work exploring an alternative future when computers become intelligent enough to take over politics from humans. In that future, artificial intelligence runs for the planetary president to address large-scale complex problems collecting and processing tons of data over the globe.

The team conducted secondary research on discussions and criticisms around AI, big data, or planetary-scale computing, which was inspired by related design precedents to build a prototype.

The outcome is an experiential prototype the audience participates in the future election campaign, listens to the AI candidate's speech incorporating irony on algorithmic governance, and receives a personalized video from the candidate that shows how the AI would change their daily life if it wins. This prototype allows the participants to be immersed in the future and encourages them to discuss its potential and possible problems with high resolution.
