For our Prototyping Methods final, we were tasked with creating a full-scale, physical prototype for ID community. As we entered into the final weeks of class and the holiday season, we wanted to create something that would spread joy, inspiration, and gratitude within the studio space. With that in mind, we created a "giving tree," a blank canvas to be decorated with ornaments, words of inspiration, and lights! To engage our peers, we hosted an ornament decorating party, complete with baked cookies and hand-cut wood ornaments. Students and faculty decorated the tree with notes of inspiration, cheer, and anything their hearts desired. For our final presentation, our wonderful professor, Marty, was inspired and played Jingle Bells on his accordion.
